Ex Demo Motus Grand Tour 46cm
Want a bike that is as good to ride as it looks? You won’t go wrong with the Raleigh Motus Grand Tour Black CB Derailleur 700c Electric Bike – with excellent components and a lightweight frame this is definitely a bike that matches style and function.
Features for the Motus Grand Tour Cross Bar
One of the improvements on the 2017 edition of the Motus Grand Tour is that the power system can feed back with more power when it detects a higher cadence on the pedals than it could on the previous model. Power comes from the 250 Watt Bosch Active Line Plus motor that is powered by a semi-integrated frame mounted 400Wh Bosch Power Pack battery, that can provide power to ride a designer claimed 110 miles on Eco mode*. The controller is the Intuvia system which is easy to control and shows a number of riding parameters to do with your riding and battery use.
Along with the great power system come great bicycle components. The Shimano Deore drivetrain has 10 speeds that use an 11-34t cassette. This allows for fast riding on the flat or downhill, with the big ring and great ratios allowing for more economical use of the battery (if that’s what you want!).
Stopping is done with the Shimano M315 hydraulic brake system. This brake system is very good for controlling your speed on descents (they don’t overheat and fade) and work as well in the wet as they do in the dry. Disc brakes are far lower maintenance too.
For riding comfort the Motus Grand Tour Black CB Derailleur 700c Electric Bike has a Selle Royal Scienta R23 saddle and 63mm travel, Suntour NEX forks that will together absorb many of the lumps in ordinary riding.
* This will vary depending on weight of user, terrain and mode of pedal assistance used.
Good condition, 20 miles on clock
