Features for 2018
Most people doing a cycle commute will do no more than a 12-15 mile round trip. Even with liberal use of the 250W brushless hub motor you will get to work and back without ever worrying about whether you have enough juice thanks to the bigger 13 amp hour battery (up to 50 miles). You still won’t worry on the smaller option 10 amp hour battery (up to 30 miles). The Oxygen S-Cross ST electric bike has been designed with discreteness in mind due to this superb in frame 36v battery.
Control of the motor is with an LCD display seated on the middle of the handlebars that shows you how much battery is left and other essential parameters. You can adjust the power output of the motor through this with a choice of three power assist modes depending on how much or little leg power you want to put into your ride.
The Oxygen S-Cross ST has a 21 speed Shimano drivetrain that will allow you to ride economically on battery even up those bigger lumps, and Tektro Novela disc brakes that are very low maintenance yet will stop you in all weather conditions. For ironing out the bumps in the road (and potholes!) this machine has Suntour NEX forks with enough travel for a comfortable ride.
This electric bike comes with front and rear mudguards, pannier rack, front and rear lights as standard. Additionally, there is a USB charging port on the battery that allows you to charge your mobile devices on the go. It comes in the option of a matt black or white finish.
