Merida eBig Tour 600 EQ Easy Entry Touring Electric Bike 2021, Satin Blue/Black
The army knife of Touring electric bikes. The eBig Tour 600 EQ is suited to the larger rider, featuring an easy entry Hydroformed triple butted Aluminium frame, responsive Shimano M400 hydraulic disc brakes, a broad Shimano Deore RDM5100 11s gearing system, and of course, Bosch EP8 630Wh running gear. See how Merida's innovative technology could bring out the adventurist you didnt know you were.
More Power, More Range
Shimano's EP8 motor offers a perfectly balanced power delivery with up to 85 Nm and has further improved on size, weight, noise and motor drag. The new 630 Wh battery is perfectly integrated into the hydroformed down tube and delivers an impressive range for even longer detours home.
Go BIG
The eBIG.TOUR EQ is rolling on 29er wheels which have fantastic ‘rolling over obstacles’ behaviour. As standard, it comes equipped with 2.2" wide tyres which offer plenty of grip and comfort. If no fenders are fitted, the tyres can go up to 2.35" improving the off-road riding characteristics even further.
Travel For Your Travels
Suntour XCR34 LOR DS 100mm suspension forks up front offers lots of comfort while having plenty of reserves when you choose a more ‘off-road’ route home. Ultimately e-MTBs encourage the rider to go ‘off the beaten track’ whenever possible.
System Weight
The system weight of a bike is the combined weight of bike, rider and additional luggage. The allowed system weight is 140 kg. As an e-bike is already heavier than a regular bike, and as it also makes it easier to transport larger amounts of luggage, it is imperative to certify a higher overall system weight. All MERIDA e-bikes, as well as all used componentry, go through a rigorous and e-bike specific testing schedule which mimics the higher forces and strains to guarantee the rider the highest level of safety.
Built For Tour
The eBIG.TOUR EQ frame offers the possibility to fit a water bottle or further accessories like a lock or pump in two different positions. One is on the top of the down tube, while a second is below the top tube. This gives the rider, besides the possibility to mount bottle cages, the option to mount for example a folding-lock or pump bracket.

Prolite 66 Triple Butted Aluminum
Our proven high-end aluminium (6066) is extremely light and durable. Using triple butted wall thicknesses and hydroforming technology, we can tune the aluminium tubes to give the best possible stiffness to weight ratio.
HFS Hydroforming System
Tubes are inserted into negative moulds and a hot emulsion of water and oil is forced through at pressure, enabling them to be formed into complex shapes.
X-Taper Headtube
Our X-Tapered headtube offers the space for a tapered fork to be fitted. Tapered forks offer superb stiffness and precise and deliver confidence-inspiring steering.
Smooth Welding
Sometimes called ‘double pass welding’, a second pass over the weld gives a clean organic look to the frame. At first glance, you will be convinced it is carbon.
Internal Cable Routing
Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks neat, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.
Smart Entry
Cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trails or roads get rough. All inlets are completely interchangeable to deal with Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake cable and gear cable housings etc.
Di2 Ready
Bikes/frames with the symbol ‘Di2 Ready’ are prepared for the installation of Di2 technology with battery mounting in the seat post or within the fork steerer.
K-Mount
Integrated mount on the chainstay to fit a MERIDA kickstand (or any commercial kickstand).
C-Mount
‘C-Mount’ equipped bikes have the fixing points for a rear rack already integrated (some bikes require model specific rear rack), making fitting fast, simple and reliable.
Casting Motor Bracket
Sophisticated shape only possible due to casting technology, creating an integrated appearance as well as an extremely strong connection between the E-bike motor and frame for improved performance and reliability.
Energy Guard Twist
Twist lock mechanism that is located at the top end of the 'Energy Guard' battery cover, for easy locking and unlocking of the protective internal battery cover.
