The Haibike 2018 XDURO NDURO 7.0 is the base specification enduro electric mountain bike. With great geometry and race travel, this is combined with Yamaha’s PW-X drive system. While a high-performance electric mountain bike, this machine will not break the bank.

The Haibike 2018 Xduro Nduro 7.0 is suited for an everyday riding experience yet will really perform out on the hills.

Front forks are air sprung 180mm travel Suntour Durolux enduro. At the rear you will find the RockShox Super Deluxe RC3 rear shock that also has 180 mm of travel and a ‘Rapid Recovery’ system that will iron out the bumps very quickly.

Speed control is offered with the new Tektro Orion HD twin piston brake caliper up front and a large single piston rear caliper.

Schwalbe Magic Mary tyres wrap a wheel set built in-house by Haibike that have Rodi alloy rims and DT Swiss spokes.

The gear system is the Sram NX mechanism with 12t X-SYNC pulley wheels. This runs over an 11-speed cassette with 11-42t set up, offering great ratios for uphill and downhill legs alike.

As a whole these mechanisms on a lightweight frame with great weight distribution make for a strong all-rounder mountain bike that will perform well on the streets as well as blasting around the hills.

Yamaha PW-X drive system

This 250 Watt drive system offers up to 320% assistance and peaks out at 80Nm of torque, making it kick like a mule when asked for power. The 2018 edition of the PW-X now offers assistance up to 120rpm.

Power is delivered in up to 5 levels of assistance and with the 500Wh frame mounted battery this setup offers up to 80 miles of real world cycling – certainly enough for a great cross country ride.

The new LCD display shows different parameters such as capacity but also estimated range according to the setting you use.
