Haibike XDURO Nduro 6.0 2019 Mens Electric Mountain Bike
The Haibike XDURO Nduro 6.0 Electric Enduro Bike is a monster for this discipline. Whether training for analogue enduro or for competing in e-enduro competition you will find some great components on this Bosch Performance CX driven machine. Ride it and see why electric enduro riders enjoy inclines so much!
SDURO vs XDURO
In recent years Haibike have decided to make it easy for the rider to choose between its lines of electric bikes. The XDURO series is for people who take riding seriously and won’t want to be left out in the rankings. Meanwhile the SDURO series is for those who may still be fit as a fiddle but are more weekend mud warriors than people who eat, sleep and breathe riding.
Haibike NDURO
Haibike’s enduro riding MTB series of electric bikes is designed to put a grin on your face during the climbs between stages and absolutely scream down the hills and mountainsides on those stretches. For those considering getting into the emerging electric enduro competition scene, Haibike have delivered a serious player.
Who are you?
You may be a traditional enduro rider who has seen people fly up hills at rude speeds without getting too puffed. You could be starting to take e-enduro seriously and want a Bosch drive e-bike that will take a pummelling downhill without hanging about on the ascents. You may even be an analogue enduro rider after a training machine!
The Nduro 6.0
Mounted on Haibike’s aluminium 6061 frame, 180mm travel FOX 36 Float Performance front shocks will take the landings just beautifully, supported by the FOX Float X2 Performance rear damper.
The Bosch Performance CX motor helps you put power to the ground through a 12-speed Sram GX Eagle drivetrain that has a 11-50t Sram Eagle PG1230 rear sprocket to help put a grin on your face on the climbs between stages. For those moments when speed needs controlling (perhaps in case a tree does it for you) a Magura MT7 hydraulic brake system has the oomph for your needs, on a beefy 203mm front rotor and 180mm rear rotor.
Mounted on a 27.5” DT Swiss FR1950 wheel set, Maxxis Minion DHF and DHR II tyres will grip the looser and wetter stuff as well as rolling well over the harder stuff.
Controlling this beast is with Haibike’s 780mm handlebars, allowing you to get the perfect line on downhill stretches.
500 watt hour battery, Bosch Performance CX and Purion display.
Your 500 watt-hour battery will give you a good 50 miles of mixed terrain riding – a lot more if you put more into the pedals and ask less of the motor! Batteries are easily swapped out using a special key so for a big day in the saddle you might want to carry another. They can be charged in just 2 hours using the supplied fast charger.
The 250W Bosch ePerformance CX is built with the trails in mind. It gives a little extra power at lower cadences for when you need that extra kick to get up to speed, while cutting out briefly during a gear change to protect the chain as you need to kick a little harder on those climbs. With a peak output of 75Nm of torque (up to 300% the wattage you put into the pedals) you can really shift when you need to, too!
This is controlled through the Bosch Purion control system. This gives a range of data to you the rider, from estimated battery on a given power setting to distance left on that setting, as well as speed and distance covered. It really is all you need for a fun day out in the hills! With power just a click of the left thumb and the other data available with an easy to use thumb-joystick you can focus on riding not faffing about with the system!
