Haibike XD AllMtn 2.0 2020 Electric Mountain Bike

The Haibike XD AllMtn 2.0 is for those who ride in competition and have a geometry built around performance rather than pure comfort as with the SDURO family. You will be an experienced rider who has seen rides that may have confounded you on a different machine and want to explore where you may not have been able to. The components are built for abuse yet the Yamaha motor is built around maximising the potential of this machine.

With a new-for-2020 Yamaha PW-X2 motor packing an awesome 80Nm of torque yet having four cadence sensors to ensure a smooth take-off even on a bonkers incline, this is an extreme eMTB that will put a smile on your face!

ALLMTN range of e-bikes

Built for extreme riding, the Haibike ALLMTN range of extreme e-MTBs are capable of almost anything you can chuck at it. Magazine reviewers consistently write in superlatives about this range of e-MTBs and have been known to put them through tough tests only for the bikes to be intact and ready for the next run. Where interests you that you couldn’t handle before? If that’s a place other eMTB riders don’t go then you probably can on the ALLMTN range of e-MTBs.

Yamaha PW-X2 motor

New for 2020, the flagship of the Yamaha Motor series has a range of features that make for great riding in all conditions. For general riding it has an ‘auto’ mode where the controller selects the power output for the bike according to pressure on the pedals and cadence. Uprated for 2020, the PW-X2 motor now delivers up to 50% more power at a cadence of 100rpm than its predecessor. Another feature is the ‘EXPW’ extra power mode that can keep you pushing after a tight turn or give that extra kick on steep terrains. All in the PW-X2 motor is one of the best crank motors on the market, bar none.

      Admittedly the entry level extreme eMTB of the range, the Haibike XDURO ALLMTN 2.0 is still a serious piece of kit. 160mm travel, air sprung RockShox Yari RC front shocks are complemented with a 60mm travel rear air sprung RockShox Deluxe Select Plus damper. For different terrains this has a XLC AllMtn, Remote 31.6mm telescope seat post

      The drivetrain is a 12 speed Sram NX Eagle running over a 11-50t chainring. Stopping power comes from Shimano MT520 disc brakes on a 203mm front rotor and 180mm rear. Added control comes from extra long, 780mm handlebars. Front and rear tyres are Maxxis Minion DHF / Maxxis Minion DHR II respectively.

      An on-tube Yamaha 500Wh battery will give you 50 miles of mixed terrain riding (less on monster inclines!).
