Based on the Haibike Cross series only with panniers, mudguards and lights, the Trekking 9.0 is a true hybrid bike for longer off road journeys or commutes where you want a greater presence on the road.

9.0 vs 7.0

The difference between the Trekking 9.0 and 7.0 are obvious – the 7.0 is happier on the road while the 9.0 is just as happy bouncing across bridleways and farm tracks as it is on your morning run to work.

Ladies bike?

The ladies bike has a slightly more upright riding position and the crossbar is lower near the saddle than the men’s bike.

The Haibike SDURO Trekking 9.0 2018 Ladies electric bike is designed to do the miles day or night. The lights are integrated into the electric system so you will see and be seen in whatever light conditions you ride in. It has a 500Wh battery that will give you a comfortable 50-70 miles or more on a single charge if ridden conservatively.

The Shimano gearing system has an 11-42t cassette meaning you can climb even a tougher hill without relying too much on your motor and can conserve energy for that final push to your destination on a longer run. Its rapid fire gear changes ensure fast and accurate gear changing just when you need it. 

Stopping power is through the Maguro hydraulic braking system and 180mm rotors. These brakes are far sharper then Vee brakes and you don’t have to change the pads nearly as frequently. You can control your speed more accurately, perhaps on the descent from a ridgeway.

The 27.5” wheels are a mountain bike size, allowing you to roll across the terrain with better speed and comfort, while the tyres are built to be good on and off road.

Bosch Performance

A 250W Bosch CX Performance motor has enough torque to kick you up to speed very quickly as you need, perhaps going up a hard incline or tackling an uncomfortable traffic situation.

You control the power output of the Haibike SDURO Trekking 9.0 2018 Ladies Electric Trekking Bike motor through the Intuvia controller. Its LCD display shows a range of parameters such as speed, distance travelled as well as an estimate of the distance you have with power assist.
