Haibike SDURO FULLSEVEN 7.0 2018
An entry level dual suspension electric mountain bike the SDURO FULLSEVEN 7.0 is a great all rounder for single track, downhill and cross country – a fun piece of kit what with its 500Wh battery will be good for a full weekend’s riding with a charge overnight.
SDURO FullSeven 7.0 2018 features
One of the most impressive bits of kit on this bike is the RockShox Monarch RT rear shock that while only weighing in at 215 grammes, has a three way adjustable lockout. From section to section of the ride you just turn a lever to set your ride hardness for that part. The shock can also be tuned according to your weight.
The rear shock complements the Suntour AION front forks that have 120mm of travel and a lockout.
One of the issues with dual suspension e-MTBs is that you can suffer chain drop. Haibike have the Sprocket Equalising System (SES) that counters this issue. The drivetrain itself is an 11 speed Sram NX system that runs over an 11-42 tooth cassette. This is a very big range of ratios for an electric mountain bike and means that there are few hills that will defeat you, with or without power assist from the Bosch motor.
Stopping is amply assisted by the Maguro MT4 hydraulic disc brakes which are mounted on a front 203mm rotor and 180mm rotor at the rear. These powerful brakes are controlled with two-finger levers.
The SDURO FULLSEVEN 7.0 2018 electric mountain bike has 27.5 inch wheels that run on 2.8” Schwalbe Nobby Nic tyres, that are very good on loose or slippery substrate but will also look after you on the odd bit of road.
Bosch Performance CX and Purion eBike power system
The 250 Watt Bosch CX crank motor peaks at 75Nm, kicking like a mule when you need that extra boost. The 500Wh battery on the lowest power setting should give you around 60-80 miles of conservative riding as you need. The Bosch CX motor is complemented by the Purion control and power system that is smaller yet provides just a few parameters for a quick look as you enjoy your day in the saddle
