Haibike SDURO FullSeven 5.0 2019 Mens Electric Bike
On a Yamaha PW-X drive system, the SDURO FullSeven 5.0 packs a real punch on the hill. Built for cross-country and marathon riding, this will deliver a smooth ride even at a high pace over rough ground – get ready for a high dose of serious fun!
SDURO vs XDURO
In recent years Haibike have decided to make it easy for the rider to choose between its lines of electric bikes. The XDURO series is for people who take riding seriously and won’t want to be left out in the rankings. Meanwhile the SDURO series is for those who may still be fit as a fiddle but are more weekend mud warriors than people who eat, sleep and breathe riding.
HardSeven vs FullSeven
Haibike HardSeven electric mountain bikes are hard tail. FullSeven are full suspension.
Who’s this for?
You could be interested in taking XC riding to the next level with better components delivering a better ride at higher speeds. You could be returning to the saddle after a while away, perhaps looking to have some fun while getting some cardiovascular exercise. You could also be an XC or marathon rider looking for a fun alternative to traditional training routines, chewing up the miles without chewing up the muscles.
More detail, please…
Core to this electric mountain bike is the Yamaha PW-X drive system that some groups of e-MTB riders swear by. It supports you in delivering power to the rear wheel through the 11-speed Sram NX drivetrain, that gives a great set of ratios through the 11-42 tooth cassette.
Shock absorption is through 120mm travel SR Suntour Aion 35 LO-R front forks with air lockouts for different terrains and ascents / descents. This is matched at the rear with the RockShox Deluxe RT damper.
The 27 inch wheels have double walled Rodi Tryp 35 rims on which Schwalbe Nobby Nic Evo SnakeSkin tyres are mounted, giving a great grip even on less favourable surfaces.
With 740mm front handlebars the Haibike SDURO FullSeven 5.0 can be controlled very quickly and accurately as you storm around the countryside. With all the great components on this machine, you will storm around too as the machine just begs for giving it all you’ve got!
500Wh battery, Yamaha PW-SE motor and Side Switch display
This bike comes with a Yamaha 500 watt hour battery that is ample for longer length rides where you’re not embarrassed to ask for the odd push of full power as you get about. Rechargeable in just a few hours, you can plug it in in the evening and have a full battery for your next day in the saddle. It comes with a Yamaha fast charger, allowing a full charge in just a couple of hours.
The Yamaha PW-SE is a development on the tried and tested Yamaha PW motor and delivers just the power you need where and when you need it. Economical yet delivering just the right amount of power when you need it, this power system is perfect for road and trail alike.
The Yamaha Side Switch display is an LCD screen that shows all your parameters in one place so with just a quick glance you can see just what you want, be it battery life, power setting, speed or distance travelled. You control the power output of the motor with a flick of a switch from your right thumb.
