In recent years Haibike have decided to make it easy for the rider to choose between its lines of electric bikes. The Yamaha drive system is what makes this machine special. Unlike Bosch it has two front gears and a smaller rear cassette that allow for a combined 20 different ratios to choose from as you ride. – Bosch is limited to 11 on their top models through the Shimano Deore XT gearing system. Stopping power is delivered by Shimano MT400 hydraulic disc brakes on 160mm rotors.

The Haibike SDURO Cross 6.0 Mens electric cross bike has low profile, Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres that are grippy on looser, wetter terrains while having a much lower rolling resistance on road and thus permitting higher average speeds on road. On larger, 28 inch wheels it makes for a smoother ride as well, amply supported by 63mm travel SR Suntour NCX D-LO front shocks with a lockout for different terrains.

As a machine this is a great all rounder that will fear no hill or mountainside on your journey on or off-road!

This bike comes with a Yamaha 500 watt hour battery that is ample for longer length rides where you’re not embarrassed to ask for the odd push of full power as you get about. The Yamaha Side Switch display is an LCD screen that shows all your parameters in one place so with just a quick glance you can see just what you want, be it battery life, power setting, speed or distance travelled.
