At a relatively low price for electric bikes, the Crussis e-City 1.8 Electric Bike is a great utility bike, and can also do longer family rides without running out of battery ‘juice’. Availible with either a 13Ah or 16Ah battery. The 250 watt Bafang 8FUN motor has lots of torque, allowing you to really go for it at the lights or in a gap of traffic at a busy roundabout.

The control system is on the left handlebar, and you can move between the three power assist modes with just a click of the button and see what level you are on with a quick glance at the simple display.

Its low step frame is suitable for people of all ages and levels of mobility – you certainly don’t need to do the splits to get on it! To iron out the bumps and potholes in the road, the Crussis e-City 1.8’s Zoom forks will cushion your ride. You also have a choice of seven gears to help you get around, perhaps up a bigger hill as you push the power assist to max as you climb. Its V brakes are by the renowned cycle parts company Tektro. The electric bike runs on 26” wheels and medium-wide 1.75" tyres.
